FARC reveals where French journalist will be released

Colombian rebel group the FARC revealed to the Red Cross (ICRC) where it will release a French journalist who has been held captive for over a month, the international organization said Tuesday.

The FARC has accepted the proposed security protocol and will proceed with Wednesday’s planned liberation, according to the ICRC.

The French journalist will be delivered to a humanitarian mission in a rural area of the southern Colombian department of Caqueta.

Langlois was captured by the guerilla’s on April 28, while accompanying a group of soldiers and police in a counternarcotics operation.
