A bombing attributed to the FARC on Monday caused serious damage to the Agrarian Bank and surrounding buildings, reports W Radio.
The bombs, placed in the bank’s ATM, exploded in the early hours of Monday in Corinth, a municipality in the south-west department of Cauca. The explosion also damaged nearby buildings. Nobody was injured.
The attack is being attributed to the FARC’s 6th Front, which has recently been highly active in the area, sending death threats to teachers, bombing police cars, making highway raids and blowing up a church.
Army troops are working alongside local police to find the perpetrators.
