‘FARC’ attack 3 locations in southwest Colombia

Reports have emerged of two further alleged FARC offensives in the southwest department of Cauca, following Thursday’s attack on a power station, reported Colombian media Friday.

Following the attack which cut out power in the Pacific coastal municipality of Timbiqui, further actions were reported in the areas around the towns of Argelia and Guapi.

The Argelia attack is reported to have left a policeman wounded.

The attacks are thought to have been carried out by the FARC’s 60th Front.
