FARC attack Putumayo town

A FARC attack on a town in Putumayo Saturday left two people dead and thirteen
wounded. The guerrillas knew to take two businessmen hostage, Colombian
security forces say.

The attack on Puerto Asís happened early Saturday morning. The FARC kidnapped the businessmen and detonated explosives when the Police arrived.

One of the dead and ten of the wounded are civilians.
