Families worried about ‘disappeared’ hostages

Families of members of the security that are held by the FARC are
worried, because instead of 22, only twenty officials now appear on the
list the guerrillas want to exchange for imprisoned rebels.

“What happened with the other two?” Marleny Orjuela, chairman of the Colombian Association of Members of the Security Forces Held and Released by Guerrilla Groups (Asfamipaz) wants to know.

The family members want to know if there has been a mistake in the FARC’s letter to mediating group Colombians for Peace, the two officials no longer are part of the deal or have died.

“We are worried, because the FARC speak of twenty, while we have proof [of life] of 22,” Orjuela, whose organization is supporter of the humanitarian exchange, says.
