Falcao scores 200th goal, looking for ‘300 more’

Colombian soccer star, Radamel Falcao, reaches a benchmark 200th career goal, but wants “300 more.”

The current striker for Atletico Madrid and the most popular player on Colombia’s national team, scored two goals in the 5-0 win over Granada C.F. on Sunday, with the second being a milestone 200th career goal.

“It’s a significant number for any player. This encourages me to keep fighting and to make many more goals for Atletico Madrid and the selection. Now I want 300 more goals,” said the star.

Falcao is looking to accomplish other personal achievements as well. His second goal of the game also marked his 24th of the season with seven games remaining. Last year he scored 24 goals in total for the entire season.
