Ecopetrol stock reaches US$24.55 on first day on Wall Street

Stocks of Colombian state oil company Ecopetrol did well on their first
day on Wall Street. The price of one stock rose 6,74 percent to
US$24,55.

Ecopetrol director Javier Gutiérrez received the honor of ringing the bell at the beginning of a day of trading of the world’s largest stock exchange market.

Until today, Bancolombia was the only Colombian company to be traded at Wall Street.
