Easter in Colombia: 17 people die in 31 traffic accidents

Most accidents were caused by drunk driving, speeding or mechanical failures of vehicles, Highway Police says. During the Easter holidays many Colombians take the time to travel. Police estimates around 2 million people throughout the country have gone on holiday bu car. 5000 police officers, 300 marines and 850 soldiers of the National Army aretrying to maintain security on the roads.
