Earthquake shakes Colombia’s Pacific coast

A minor earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale hit Colombia’s Pacific coast early Tuesday morning.

The earthquake took place just before 6AM and has its epicenter 4 miles outside of the port city Buenaventura at a depth of 18 miles, seismologists reported.

Local authorities reported no damages or injuries.
