The Vuelta a Colombia has its third leader in four days, as Fabio
Duarte conquers the Red Jersey following his victory in stage four of
the race.
Duarte (Colombia es Pasión-Café de Colombia) finished solo up the ‘Hors Category’ Alto de la Línea, after a 128km stage starting in the city of Ibagué.
Lotería de Boyacá riders Javier González and Fernando Camargo completed the top three, finishing at more than two minutes from the winner.
Duarte now has a comfortable lead in the overall classification, 2 minutes and 14 seconds ahead of Javier González. Well known names as Santiago Botero and Oscar Sevilla are to be found in ninth and tenth place.
On Wednesday, the Vuelta continues with a 195km course from Circasia to Cali, in Valle.
