Drug dog doped by smuggler (video)

Sasha the sniffer dog had a brush with death after a septuagenarian drug smuggler dosed her with zombie drug scopolamine at a Barranquilla prison.

When Sasha caught a whiff of something illegal, she marked out the 77-year-old to guards as she waited to enter the prison at visiting time. When the guards hauled her out of line and into an interrogation room, the crafty granny asked them to fetch her a glass of water.

With the guards distracted the doddering dealer forced what authorities believe was scopolamine on the unfortunate pup, causing her to vomit and convulse.

Sasha was rushed to the vet and now the lucky labrador is making a good recovery. However, her poisoner was soon turned loose, due to a loophole in Colombian law.
