Police injured in explosion during coffee protest cleanup

Two policeman were allegedly injured on Friday, after a firecracker exploded during the clean-up process following the coffee strike.

The explosion occurred in Timbio, a town in southwest Colombia, while police were removing cambuches which are makeshift tin huts that were used in the strike.

Several people tweeted the story; however it hasn’t been confirmed whether the firecracker was intentionally planted by the protesters.
