Court wants DMG director arrested

A Colombian judge ordered the arrest of DMG owner David Murcia Guzmán
and seven other executives of the controversial investment company.
They are charged with conspiracy to commit a crime and bribery. Bogotá
wants Panamá, where the DMG director lives, to extradite Gúzman.

Two of the DMG executives already have been arrested, Colombian President Álvaro Uribe announced Tuesday evening.

Gúzman’s offer to negotiate with the government was turned down fiercely by the Colombia’s Head of State. “The government can not negotiate with criminals,” he said.

Clients of DMG have been given ten days to claim the money back they invested in DMG, the government announced.
