Court hearing DMG director postponed again

The court hearing of DMG director David Murcia was postponed again Tuesday,
this time because the defense hadn’t received all of the evidence
against the suspected money launderer.

According to defense attorney Fredy Gutiérrez, he has only been able to look into 60 percent of the evidence against the former DMG director, because of the renunciation of Murcia’s former lawyers.

Murcia was defended by Gutiérrez and not his main lawyer Gustavo Salazar, because the latter refuses to appear in court until he has had the chance to study all evidence.

The judge suspended the hearing to give the defense more time to study the over 90 pieces of evidence that the prosecution has to prove the alleged criminal activities of Murcia.
