Competitions for Miss World begin in Colombia

 

Districts in central Colombia host pageants to select representatives for the Miss World Colombia beauty contest.

According to an article published by El Colombiano, entrants must be “at least 5.5 ft tall, be in excellent physical condition, and must be flawless performers.”

Candidates from the districts of Bogotá, Boyacá, Cundinamarca, Huila, Santander and Norte de Santander by the Tolima will be selected on Saturday, June 25.

The winner of Miss World Colombia will participate in Miss World 2011, an internationally renowned beauty pageant.
