‘Colombia’s worst soap opera ever returns’

Padres e Hijos (fathers and sons), popularly considered Colombia’s worst soap opera ever, will return to television no more than a year after it was taken off the air, entertainment weblog La Fiscalia reported on Monday.

According to the website, several sources confirmed national broadcaster Caracol will be bringing Padres e hijos: la nueva generacion (Fathers and children: the new generation) after the soap opera that replaced the previous P&H received disappointingly low ratings and is likely to be skipped.

Caracol and the producers of P&H are currently talking about the new series, which is likely to be back on Colombian television in March 2010, the website reported on Colombia’s April Fools Day (which falls on December 28).
