According to El Tiempo newspaper, Bacca made a goal during practice but it was the shot of that goal that must’ve injured, what seems to be, the player’s quadriceps.

Bacca was able to leave the training field under his own accord, but was seen touching his right leg, covering his face with his shirt, and obviously upset.

Colombia’s national team’s press chief, Mauricio Correa, said “Bacca hurt a muscle,” according to El Espectador newspaper. Correa said that medics will examine Bacca to determine the severity of the injury.

Carlos Bacca did not play in Colombia’s 3-0 victory against Greece, but was a hopeful to substitute Radamel Falcao.
