Migration Colombia, the country’s office for immigration issues, reported on Tuesday the deportation of Marrawi Karin Olivier Jerome to France on charges of financial and commercial fraud.

According to the international law enforcement network Interpol, Jerome, 40, is wanted by French authorities for alleged forgery and sale of bogus airline tickets, as well as theft of confidential information from airline companies.

Migration Colombia said that the decision was made after it was confirmed that he is wanted for questioning by French judicial authorities.

It is reported that Jerome has also been accused in the United States of using false documents to enter zones reserved for airport staff.

Migration Colombia said that two of its officers escorted Jerome back to France, where he was handed over to French authorities.
