Colombia’s March oil production exceeds 1M barrels

Colombia’s oil production in March exceeded 1 million barrels in spite of continuing rebel attacks against Colombia’s energy infrastructure.

The information released by the Colombian ministry of mining and energy shows Colombia’s crude oil production in March averaged 1,013,481 barrels per day. This figure indicates a 7% rise on the 947,000 barrels per day in March 2012.

The quantity of natural gas on the market in March 2013 reached an average of 1,121 million cubic feet per day.
