Colombia’s army finds 3 FARC weapons stockpiles

Colombia’s Armed Forces has found three caches of weapons, explosives and supplies believed to belong to the FARC.

According to the military’s website, the first haul was discovered in Puerto Gaitan in the central department of Meta. The stash, which allegedly belonged to the FARC’s 39th Squadron, included 716 cartridges of different calibres and three missiles.

The second stockpile of weapons, found in El Tarra in the department of Norte de Santander, allegedly belonged to the FARC’s “Ruz Bari” Mobile Column.

The final discovery was made in Palmira in the southwest department of Valle del Cauca and allegedly belonged to the FARC’s “Gabriel Galvis” Column.
