Colombians to participate in world record Monopoly session

A group of Monopoly fans in Bogotá are part of a 18-city effort to break the Guinness World Record for simultaneous games of the famous Parker Brothers board game.

Participants hailing from four of the five continents, in cities as diverse as Tokyo, Kiev, London and Las Vegas, are joining in the effort to publicize the release of an electronic version of the iconic board game next month, reported Europa Press.

Colombia is the sole South American representative, but Central American neighbor Panama will also host games in its capital.
