‘Colombians for Peace’, the group that brokered the release of six
hostages this week, wrote a letter to FARC commander ‘Mono Jojoy’ to
thank him for his collaboration.
The letter will be delivered to representatives of the guerrillas by mediator Piedad Córdoba Thursday when she picks up the last of this week’s six released hostages, former Valle deputy Sigifredo López.
‘Colombians for Peace’ have been involved in an exchange of letters with the FARC and seeks a political solution to the country’s 44-year old violent conflict.
