Colombian writer David Sanchez Juliao dies at 65

Colombian writer David Sanchez Juliao died in a hospital in the capital Bogota Wednesday.

According to the hospital, the writer died early in the morning of heart problems, for which he had been admitted to hospital a few days previously.

The 65-year-old Sanchez Juliao has won several prizes for his books and served as Colombia’s ambassador to India and Egypt in the early 1990s.
