Colombian woman has 8 children of her father

by Adriaan Alsema March 28, 2009

A 35-year-old woman reported to Tolima authorities she had given birth
to eight children to her father, who allegedly had been sexually
abusing her for 30 years.

The father started abused his child after the death of his wife, when his daughter was five years old.

Father Arcedio Alvaro Quintero Rodríguez, a 58-year-old farmer impregnated his daughter for the first time when she was only nine years old.

Fourteen pregnancies followed over the years. six pregnancies were aborted, but the daughter now has five boys and three girls all belonging to her father.

According to a family member, the daughter started realizing something was very wrong when she saw the case of the “monster of Austria” on television. “Monster” Josef Fritzl held is own daughter captive for 24 years to subject her to incest. The daughter had seven children of Fritzl.

According to the family guardian, the male siblings of the victim — having witnessed the abuse of their father / grandfather — started copying his behavior and began abusing their sisters.

The family of the Tolima victim never knew of the abuse, because the father and daughter lived relatively isolated.

The abuse case is now picked up nationally. The country’s Prosecutor General Mario Iguarán personally visited the village of Mariquita where the abuse took place and says the man will be charges with sexual abuse, sexual violence and incest.
