Colombian ace Radamel Falcao is as good as some of the world’s top soccer players, said a former Spanish player and coach on Thursday.
Former Spanish player and coach Jose Luis Aragones considers Atletico Madrid forward Radamel Falcao on a par with the likes of the Argentine Lionel Messi and Portuguese captain Cristiano Ronaldo.
He also added that the three players have “completely different” values in relation to their role in the team.
Aragones said that Falcao “is a natural goal scorer” in an interview with Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.
The 26-year old is one of Colombia’s current longest serving players with 39 caps and their highest current goal scorer with 13 goals.
Falcao is one of the most highly sought-after players in the world and rumors have persisted surrounding his future at Madrid since the start of the season, although the Spanish club have always been quick to quash any talks of his exit.
