Colombian pop singer to record at Abbey Road

Popular Colombian singer-songwriter Andres Cepeda will be taking a short break from working on his latest album to record two tracks with English artists at legendary recording studio Abbey Road.

According to the Cepeda’s website, the artist accepted the invitation from Cambridge University’s choir group “The Gentlemen of St. John” along with Latin Classical Group, a trio that performs traditional Colombian music in the U.K.

Cepeda’s is set to release his seventh solo album “Te regalo mi canto” (“I give you my song”) this May.

Besides the Beatles, artists like Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson and U2, as well as Spanish-speaking artists such as Gustavo Cerati, have created some of their most famous productions at the renowned recording studio in London.
