Colombian peso update – Wednesday, March 7

 

The Colombian peso strengthened against the dollar today with one dollar closing at 1,769 compared to 1,780 the day before.

Lucia Duarte a currency strategist at Bancolombia told Bloomberg that the peso was following the trend of global markets.

The strongest value of the peso in the past month was recorded on February 29 when one dollar was worth 1,766.5 pesos.
