Colombian paramilitary druglord smuggles cellphones into US jail

U.S. prison authorities punish Colombian paramilitary druglord “Macaco” for selling cellphones to fellow inmates, reported W Radio Tuesday.

The Colombian warlord, who is currently incarcerated in a Miami prison, will spend 2 weeks in the “hole.” The punishment is intended to prohibit Jiménez from speaking with other prisoners.

Jiménez was extradited to the US in 2008 under charges of narcotics trafficking. Prosecutors believed that Jiménez was also involved in a gang war while incarcerated in a Colombian jail.
