Colombian movie wins award at Sundance

Colombian movie “All Your Dead Ones” won an award at the Sundance Film Festival.

The movie, directed by Carlos Moreno, won the award in the World Cinema Cinematography: Dramatic category.

While receiving the award, Moreno admitted “I don’t speak English.”

A translator was rushed on stage and told the crowd that the Colombian director “is very honored and grateful for the award, and he’s happy that Colombian cinema is being recognized here.”

All Your Dead Ones is about a peasant who wakes to find a pile of bodies in the middle of his crops, and then finds that it’s a problem that no one wants to deal with.
