Colombian model shot by hitmen

Colombian model Alexandra Roa Briñez was injured Thursday when two hitmen opened fire on her.

The ‘sicarios’ shot at the 22-year old model, known from a jeans campaign and a video of popular singer Jhonny Rivera, when she arrived at her parents’ home in the town of Dosquebradas, Risaralda.

According to witnesses consulted by newspaper El Tiempo, two young men had been waiting near the house for a while. When the model arrived one of them walked up to her and shot the model seven times.

The model was hit in the arm and in the chest and taken to hospital.

The hitmen disappeared on a motorcycle.
