Colombian model-designer to show her stuff on Panama runway

Colombian fashion designer and former actress Adriana Arboleda will show off her one and only collection in the runway show Panama Fashion Week, according to the latest from Sweet magazine.

In her fourth incarnation as the head of a fashion empire with fellow designer Johanna Ortiz, the model-turned actress-turned designer is smelling success pretty darn quick, since the event, to be held from July 14 to 16 in Panama City, attracts all the big names in “la moda” from around Latin America.

The Cali native’s garments have in the past been displayed at some national fashion expos, but now she appears to have hit it big time.

Unfortunately, Adriana’s Pink Filosofy collection apparently doesn’t live up to its name, as there isn’t a stitch of pink in sight, but, rather, a variety of jumpsuits in grey, mauve and teal.
