Colombian film wins four awards at international festival

Colombian film Casando Luciernagas (Chasing Dragonflies) has won four awards at an international film festival in Brazil.

The film, about a solitary man whose life is transformed when his young daughter appears with a dog at the abandoned salt mine he guards, won the awards for best director, best screenplay, best actress and best cinematography at the Gramado Film Festival.

The festival, running since 1992, is the most important film festival in Brazil and one of the most important in Latin America.

Casando Luciernagas is directed by Roberto Flores and stars Valentina Abril.
