Colombian film featured in international festivals

A film by Colombian director Carlos Moreno, will be featured in two international film festivals.

“Todos sus Muertos” (All your Dead) tells the story of a farmer (played by Alvaro Rodriguez) who wakes on the day of the local election to find a pile of dead bodies in his corn field.

The movie will compete in the World Cinema Dramatic category at the Sundance Film Festival, which will take place in Utah in the end of January.

At the 40th International Film Festival in Rotterdam, Holland, Todos sus Muertos will be up against 13 other films to win the Tiger Award and $18,000.00.

Cali-native Moreno, who also directed internationally-acclaimed Perro Come Perro (Dog Eat Dog), has helped make Cali a hot spot for movie production in Colombia.
