Three Colombian drug traffickers wanted in Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil were captured in different parts of Colombia Tuesday, reported El Espectador.

According to a police report, 30 year old Julian Diaz, alias “El Caballista,” wanted in Venezuela for his connections with the country’s “most powerful mafia dedicated to laundering money from drug trafficking,” was apprehended near the Venezuelan border in the Villa del Rosario municipality of Norte de Santander.

Orlando Rodriguez, 51, alias “El Indio,” wanted in Brazil for heading a narcotics nexus which sent drugs to Central and North America under his guise of being a successful exporter, was captured on a road in the central Meta department.

Captured along with Rodriguez was 60 year old Argemiro Sierra, alias “El Canoso,” who is wanted in Argentina for what authorities called “frequent shipments of drugs using human couriers and false-bottom suitcases, utilizing as platforms the airports of Bogota, Medellin, Sydney, Madrid, Amsterdam, and Buenos Aires.” He also is alleged to be involved in the assassination of three youths.
