Colombian company makes deal with CGG Veritas

Colombian company GSS Geofisica Sistemas y Soluciones SA has signed an agreement with CGGVeritas, a French geophysical services company.

This agreement will enable CGGVeritas to carry out new exploration projects to search for oil and gas resources in Colombia.

“We agree that now is one of the best moments to explore for resources in Colombia, which will allow us to extend the oil reserves in the country,” said GSS Corporate Manager Marco Tulio Pérez.

The deal is estimated to create 15,000 jobs in the region.
