Colombian troops destroyed four cocaine labs and an explosive device in the southwest of the country Friday.

The Colombian military reports that over 325kg of coca leaf, along with an improvised explosive device (IED), were found in the departments of Putamayo and Caqueta.

Soldiers also located 11,200 coca plants in a village close to the Caqueta cocaine labs, according to the military.

The IED was found and destroyed on a rural road, allegedly placed by members of the FARC column Teofilo Forero.

The Colombian Navy reported the discovery of four suspected FARC cocaine labs in the southwestern department of Valle del Cauca Wednesday.
