Colombian airliner opens routes to Cuba, Mexico

Colombian airliner Aero Republica announced it will start flights to Cuba and Mexico City in October.

The new flights are part of an expansion plan by the airliner, which earlier announced new return flights from Bogota to Guatemala City with stops in Panama City and Costa Rica’s San Jose.

The weekly flight to Cuban capital Havana and the daily flight to Mexico City will be direct.

Aero Republica already offers flights to the Venezuelan capital Caracas and Ecuadorean cities Quito and Guayaquil.
