Colombian actress Nataly Umaña on a quest for a British accent

Colombian model and soap opera actress Nataly Umaña plans to broaden her acting horizons by taking English classes in London, reported El Tiempo Wednesday.

The young stunner, who already demonstrated her penchant for acting when she played a ditzy model in “The Real Rodrigo Leal” and a sexy seductress in “The Detectives,” is aiming to stretch her talents even further by grabbing a firm hold on the English language.

And this isn’t the first time the Colombian star has demonstrated a true dedication to her art, saying that she once sacrificed her beauty for a character when she cut her hair “super-short” to play the role of Jenny Rico in “The Detectives.”

Here’s hoping Umaña never has to go through an ordeal like that again, and that she comes back from her holidays ready to really propel her career forward with a true British twang.
