Colombia to march again on July 20

Betancourt announced Thursday she will lead the July 20 march in support of the hostages still held by Colombia’s rebel groups and to demand the FARC release all 700 people they still hold captive.The rescued French-Colombian politician told Caracol Radio that July 20, Colombia’s official Independence day has a “huge symbolic value”. “If we need to be here to achieve a unilateral release of the hostages, I will be there,” she added.
