Colombia soccer star Radamel Falcao said Wednesday that he is certain to return to Monaco for the coming season.
The former Colombia captain said that a return to his parent club Monaco is the best choice to have continuity and return to playing regular first-team football.
“In principle we are considering going back to Monaco. Everything is almost ready for my return. It’s my best choice to have continuity and play,” said “El’Tigre” through his YouTube channel.

The 30-year-old, who was on loan at Chelsea, has made 12 appearances for the Blues this season, scoring just once in what has been an injury-plagued season.
This follows a disappointing 2014/15 season at Manchester United, during which he scored only four goals in 29 appearances in all competitions.
However, the Colombian striker’s parent club Monaco are ready to bring him back to the Stade Louis II stadium after his difficult time in England, a prospect which the former Colombia captain is relishing.
He recalled that Monaco qualified for the preliminary stage of the Champions League, something he described as “interesting” and said his “challenge is to play every game, to score goals every game, feel comfortable in the field and gain the pace of competition.”
Monaco’s preseason, he said, will begin on June 23 and “I would have to present to the team.”
