Colombia, Spain agree to strengthen ties

Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos met with the King of Spain while both were attending an Ibero-American summit in Argentina.

According to Caracol Radio, Santos and King Juan Carlos I agreed to strengthen ties between the two countries and to promote Spanish investment in the Andean nation.

Santos also met with the presidents of Chile, Mexico and Peru to talk about multilateral plans to improve trade with Asia through the countries’ Pacific coast line.
