Colombia sends message of solidarity to Sandy victims

Colombia President Juan Manuel Santos on Tuesday sent a message of solidarity to victims of Hurricane Sandy that has killed at least 40 in the U.S.

Santos expressed via twitter his “Solidarity with the victims of Hurricane Sandy.”

Colombian consulates that were closed ahead of the devastating storm opened again on Wednesday, the country’s Foreign Ministry announced.
