Colombia raises swine flu death toll to 160

Colombian health authorities raised the number of confirmed swine flu infections to 3,174. 160 of these patients died of the pandemic flu.

In its weekly report, the Ministry of Social Welfare said the virus has not spread geographically in the past seven days and has been confirmed in 188 municipalities in all but one departments.

According to the World Health Organization, 526,060 people have contracted the virus so far worldwide. 6,770 of the patients died.
