Colombia investigates ties between FARC and ETA

National Police boss Oscar Naranjo told Caracol Radio information about a possible joint-operation of the two terrorist organizations to assassinate Colombian vice-president Francisco Santos during an official visit to the Spanish capital.E-mails found on Raúl Reyes’ computer indicated that current FARC commander in chief ‘Alfonso Cano’ wanted a collaboration with the Basques to murder Santos. He didn’t rule out other prominent Colombians may be at risk in Spain as well.
