Colombia hopes for friendly relations with Russia

 

In an interview with Caracol Radio, Santos said the joint Venezuelan Russian excercises do not generate concern in Bogotá, but the government does need to understand the scope of the excercises, especially when concerning submarines, who are also used by drug traffickers to transport drugs to North America.

“We will talk about these issues in a critical way, but as friends, Santos said. 

Santos is currently in Moscow to talk about a possible defense agreement.
