Colombia enters FIFA top 20

Colombia entered the top 20 of the FIFA World Ranking Wednesday after beating Peru in the South American World Cup qualifiers.

The victory over Peru resulted in a three-point rise in the ranking that is led by Spain.

Colombia overtook Switzerland and Australia and is now only nine points behind Mexico.

The Colombian Cafeteros will be playing Ecuador, placed 36, on June 10 in the next Brazil 2014 qualifier.
