Colombia draw with Mexico in friendly

Colombia and Mexico on Wednesday drew 0-0 in a friendly match played in the Colombian city of Pereira a little over a week before both countries take part in the Copa America 2011.

Colombia played with star players like Radamel Falcao Garcia, Hernan “Bolilo” Gomez and Jackson Martinez, but was unable to score against the Mexican guests, despite the fact that the home team played on the Mexican half of the field the majority of the match.

Colombia will play one more friendly game, against Senegal, before traveling to Argentina where on July 1 the Copa America 2011 begins.
