The World Roller Speed Skating Championships came to a close on Saturday, with Colombia claiming 32 golds, 18 silvers, and two bronze medals in a dominating performance.
The championships, held in Belgium, concluded with four marathons attracting approximately 20,000 spectators, reported newspaper El Espectador.
The Colombian team added three medals on the final day, one gold and two silvers. Alex Cujavante, of Barranquilla, Johanna Viveros, of Valle del Cauca and Andres Jimenez, of Cartagena claimed the medals respectively.
Colombia concluded the championships at the top of both the points standings and the medals table.
