Colombia confirms 12th case of AH1N1

 

Colombia’s Health Ministry confirmed one new case of swine flu, or AH1N1, in the country, raising the total number of patients carrying the virus to twelve.

The new case is a young man from Yopal, Casanare department, where the virus was already confirmed.

The patient receives medical help at home and is doing well, authorities say.

Aside the confirmed cases, Colombia counts 226 suspected cases and 1 probable case.
