Colombia central bank positive about economic consequences of peace

The manager of Colombia’s Central Bank said Wednesday a possible peace deal between the government and rebel groups is likely to stimulate the Colombia economy.

Although central bank manager Jose Dario Uribe said there are no precise estimates of how many points the Gross Domestic Product of the country at peace would be raised, he did state a “solid institutional situacion and an economy in peace is an central element of economic growth and job creation,” Caracol Radio reported.
